Industrial design

Industrial DesignIndustrial design is the primary activity of INGEO. The fields in which the company operates are design, production and the review of products in industrial fields. Thanks to the use of special software, INGEO will be able to participate in the various stages of design of industrial artefacts and solve the most common problems in the field of design.

Structural analysis

Structural analysisThe structural analysis (also known as structural calculations) shows all the tools and techniques (digital, computer ...) developed to solve engineering problems of "mechanical structures", in particular in aerospace, mechanical and civil.

The structural analysis, then, is to determine the distribution of internal forces and moments or tensions, deformations and displacements, in the structure or part of it.

Biomedical research

Biomedical ResearchINGEO, in the person of Ing. Luigi Paracchini, has taken part in the drafting of many articles concerning  Biomechanics in particular on prosthesis (hip, knee, dental, spine, shoulder, hand). INGEO initiated several collaborations on the scientific research on biomaterials and biomechanical behaviour of implants, especially dental care.

Rapid Prototyping

Rapid PrototypingRecently INGEO has begun to deal with rapid prototyping applied to the medical area.
Rapid prototyping (RP) is an innovative technology that enables the production, in a few hours, of complex geometry objects directly from the mathematical model of the object created on a three-dimensional CAD system.

INGEO uses rapid prototyping to print three-dimensional anatomical models that are used in maxillofacial surgery and orthopaedics.

3D scanning

3D scanningINGEO has the ability to run the 3D scanning with a laser scanner NOT Contact VIVID Series (Konica Minolta).
The laser scanner NOT contact Konica Minolta VIVID 910 is a portable instrument (with software included) for the acquisition of small and medium three-dimensional objects.

Thanks to laser scanning galvanometer mirror with high precision and extremely fast in the image, the VIVID 910 can achieve a scan in just 0.3 seconds.

Reverse engineering

Reverse engineeringINGEO has also the possibility to offer the service of reverse engineering. The need to reproduce the geometry of the elements created manually by model is now heard in modern production facilities that require an accurate mathematical model (3D CAD) for the prototyping stage and for the subsequent industrial processes.
